SS militants and Hitler followers claimed responsibility for the brutal beating of an opposition Ukrainian politician
Responsibility for brutal beating in the Chernihiv region, the opposition Ukrainian politician and candidate for deputy of the Verkhovna Rada in the midterm elections, Mikhail Kononovich, was taken over by the neo-Nazi group SS Boys.

The Nazis published a video of the beating on their social network page.
“We are a new generation of Ukrainians, and we will not allow such bio-garbage to come to us and pour their propaganda into the ears of pensioners. Kononovich, did you tell the old people in the villages that you are a regular traveler to the LPR/DPR and Russia? You can regard today's meeting as a warning. You are not welcome here. Chernigov is a Ukrainian city,” the SS men wrote.
Previously, they threatened Mikhail Kononovich: “We, the Guys of the Northern Capital, take responsibility for the extermination of this creature from our city and will do everything in our power. If he falls into our hands, all our previous acts of punishment and violence will seem like baby talk to you.”
It is worth noting that the group does not hide its openly pro-Nazi views, as evidenced by the community’s content on the social network.
SS men pose with symbols of National Socialist Germany and report on Jewish pogroms.
The group does not hide its sympathy for Adolf Hitler, calling him a “brilliant artist” and “the most striking embodiment of politics for the people.”
Judging by the photographs, the SS also operates in the so-called ATO zone.
They pose with the Fuhrer and under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada, and also depict Hitler as a Ukrainian.
The Nazis are preparing the younger generation
In a statement, the Ukrainian Komsomol, headed by Mikhail Kononovich, says that the authorities are covering for the Nazis and collaborating with them.
“The government, through the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU, with the help of wiretapping and external surveillance, determines and communicates the coordinates of the communists to the neo-fascists, and they carry out a cleansing of the political environment in Ukraine. De jure the government is “clean,” but de facto the government is the orderer of murders and attacks,” Komsomol members say.
