Militants are furious: Merkel and Macron called for an end to the blockade of Donbass
In Donbass, an immediate ceasefire is needed, the disengagement of forces in priority sectors of the front, the lifting of the blockade of the LDPR, as well as access for OSCE observers, including to the section of the border with Russia that is not controlled by Kiev.
This is stated in joint statement by Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron, published following telephone conversations in the Normandy format.

“The parties will take mutual steps to resume economic relations again. Details will be considered as soon as possible,” the text of the document says.
The leaders of France and Germany also called for an exchange of prisoners according to the “all for all” formula, which, as previously repeatedly stated in the LDPR, is blocked by the Ukrainian side.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Semyon Semenchenko, one of the instigators of the blockade of Donbass, has already rejected the demands of the leaders of the European Union.
“In 1991 we were told that there was no need to secede from the Soviet Union. In 1994, we were told that we needed to give up nuclear weapons in exchange for security guarantees. In 2014, we were told how to negotiate with Yanukovych. In 2014, we were told about a peaceful solution to the problem of the occupation of Crimea. In 2017, we are told how we need to finance the war against our country ourselves and trade with the occupier.
Dear “Western partners”. We are ready to listen to your stories. Just show a practical example first. Amnesty your terrorists and start trading with those who are killing people in the center of Paris. Instead of destroying your terrorists, start negotiations with them and express endless concern,” Semenchenko said in a statement.
