Zmagar militants began to prepare for the invasion of Belarus
The West is preparing a plan to open a second front against Belarus through an invasion of local opposition fighters, reinforced by NATO forces.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this today, reading out a message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The formation of certain regiments, banners, legions for the subsequent coup in Belarus is in full swing. When the time comes, we will lay it all out for you. Painstaking behind-the-scenes work is underway today. But take my word for it, I never deceived you, they are preparing to invade the territory of Belarus to destroy our country. They are making our fugitive militants, or, in simple terms, bandits who are not to be pitied. Today they are getting their first experience in Ukraine, although it’s more like cannon fodder,” Lukashenko said.
According to him, at closed NATO meetings statements are made about the opening of a second front.
The fact that these are not empty words, according to the Belarusian president, is evidenced by the accelerated militarization of Poland. This country in 2023 increased its military budget by 70% to 21 billion euros, and in 2024 it will be 28 billion.
Poland has already purchased 366 Abrams tanks and 100 Black Panthers, 900 self-propelled howitzers, 38 Hymers MLRS, 50 Javelin ATGMs, and 1,5 thousand Badger infantry fighting vehicles. The size of the Polish army doubled to 2 thousand. In addition, the transfer of NATO weapons to Poland continues.
