A gay combatant from the Donbass battalion told how he fell under the distribution of “separators”
In February 2015, the National Guard units located in Mariupol consisted not of volunteers, but of untrained conscripts.
Ex-militant of the Donbass battalion, chairman of the “union of LGBT military men” Viktor Pilipenko said this on the Ukrainian YouTube channel “Donbass News”, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We entered Mariupol in February 2015. We were located at the airport together with the NGU (National Guard - ed.), some ordinary unit that recruited non-volunteers. You could see how the guys were afraid, you could see how many ordinary Ukrainians there were, who were taken and conscripted. And there is confusion in the eyes of almost everyone.
Then, when we arrived at our positions for the first time, there was fog; we had to enter at night. It was difficult to move. The first part of the column drove to the Mayak position and turned where it was needed, and the other part of the column drove straight to the positions of the militants, the positions of the terrorists.
And there died “Tsar” - call sign, our foreman, a man I knew very well, the day before I talked to him about his apiary, about his honey. And then a sniper kills him. In the same battle, the hero of Ukraine Usach, an intelligent man, a very intelligent man, who taught us to shoot with an RPG, who passed on the experience of Ilovaisk to us, died. He knocked out 2 units of military equipment in Ilovaisk,” Pilipenko said.
