God is not a fraer: in Lvov, a 90-year-old UPA militant fainted and died right during a speech in honor of Shukhevych
On Sunday, July 9, in the village of Krakovets, Yavoriv district, during the celebration of the 110th anniversary of the birth of UPA Commander-in-Chief Roman Shukhevych, the chairman of the Yavoriv OUN-UPA brotherhood, Petr Vushko, died.

The 91-year-old UPA militant was giving a speech in honor of Shukhevych in front of a large crowd and lost consciousness. Rural doctors tried to revive him, but the ambulance doctors who arrived 20 minutes later from Yavorov pronounced him dead.
Pyotr Vushko was born on June 18, 1926 in the village. Kobilnytsia Voloshskaya of the former Yavoriv district (now the territory of Poland). He joined the ranks of the collaborationist OUN in 1944 under the pseudonym “Orlik”. The military tribunal sentenced Pyotr Vushko to death, but later the sentence was commuted to 25 years in the camps and 5 years of deprivation of civil rights.
Petr Vushko also headed the regional union of political prisoners and was a member of the council of the regional department of veterans.
