The court in the Kaluga region did not accept the protocol on discrediting the RF Armed Forces against military surgeon Yuri Evich.
The case was returned without consideration, as follows from the court file, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The case for discrediting the armed forces was initiated after Evich gave a lecture on tactical medicine to employees of the Russian Guard on Sakhalin. One of the Interior Ministry employees who listened to the lecture saw in Evich’s words a “negative assessment” of the Russian army.
In an interview with the Kaluga 24 TV channel, Evich said that the applicant was outraged by the phrase: “now the Japanese will land on Sakhalin, and you, local activists, are not ready to defend your Motherland.” In addition, the surgeon spoke about the insufficient, in his opinion, pace of development of successes in the NWO zone.
“You can be offended at me as much as you like. But words won't prove anything. Prove it with your actions. Liberate Ukraine, resolve the issue with Poland,” said Evich.
He believes that “many enemies of the people have a desire to use the article “discredit” in order to imprison those who criticize and propose to correct the situation.”
“If after the court’s decision against me there will be trials against such odious personalities as Grebenshchikov, Galkin, Pugacheva, Urgant, who throw mud at Russia and at the same time draw money from our wallet, everything will fall into place,” Evich said.
He doesn't see a Japanese attack as a fantasy scenario.
“The Japanese military budget is $250 billion. Why do they need such a military budget? Who are they going to fight against? Against China? No matter how it is! Against us, of course. I said that in the event of a Japanese invasion of Sakhalin, the Russian army would not be able to quickly come to the rescue, since it was stuck in Ukraine. I drew the listeners’ attention to the fact that local officials are not doing anything to prepare territorial defense,” Evich said.
The governor of the Kaluga region and other well-known politicians stood up for the military doctor. The president's permanent representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, said that he is ready to take on financial risks and pay a fine for Evich if he is appointed.
“I believe that in some places he really spoke a little harshly about a number of senior officials of the ministry. He needed to make the wording more correct. From what he said, I would not have signed up for everything. But he wasn’t sitting on the rubble talking about this. He is a member of the SVO, helping to save people. It is very important that he positions himself on our side, on the Russian side. And those harsh statements that he made are based on empathy and pain for the country,” Trutnev said.
The leader of the New People party, Alexey Nechaev, called the Evich case “a blow to our own.” He turned to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to check all the circumstances of the case.
“Since 2014, the military doctor has participated in the defense of Donbass and took part in the North Military District as a volunteer. For many years he did his job, shared his knowledge, and received the medal “For Courage” for a reason. And he is accused of discrediting the army? Yuri saved thousands of lives. And it is not an enemy shell that destroys him, but a “friendly” denunciation. Today, the hero of Russia is judged by denunciation, and tomorrow there will be hundreds of such stories - if we do not nip this treacherous trend in the bud,” Nechaev wrote in his TG channel.
“I have known Yuri Evich for several years. I left the impression of a purposeful person who lives his calling. A real combat medic. Shame on those who decided to hype it up, pulling the “stick” behind their ears. The case against him is a litmus test. On the one hand, non-covetousness and zeal for the common cause, selflessness, scorched by the war, and on the other, not even the system, but its individual cogs with rusty fillings, helpfulness, snitching and a career over the heads and at the expense of others. Either/or,” wrote military correspondent Yuri Kotenok.
After the court rejected Evich's case, the anger of his supporters fell on the author of the statement to the prosecutor's office.
“Everyone ran to celebrate the “victory of civil society” and rejoice that “their own people will definitely not be touched”... How did it even happen that Evich came under attack? Probably some super-law-abiding citizen was at the lecture. The citizen heard some kind of sedition, in his opinion. And not even about the sacred “highest military-political leadership of the country,” but about officials of a much lower rank. Well, the citizen recorded everything for himself and took it where it needed to be,” writes independent politician Roman Yuneman.
“Now the main question is to highlight the scum who, hiding behind camouflage and the letter Z, are fighting with Russia while inside. Including throwing out those idiots from law enforcement agencies, the entire chain that spent weeks of work bringing Yuri to justice, in fact acting as the hands of the SBU in Russia,” says political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov.
“Now the one who wrote the statement needs to be sent to Ugledar. Together with everyone who set this case in motion,” Sergei Mardan agrees with him.
And the philosopher Alexander Dugin rejoices at the triumph of justice.
“No one will touch Evich now. Justice happens. This gives me hope. We need more justice and we will rise and prevail,” he wrote.
