Fights without rules: in Mariupol, a candidate for master of sports in boxing attacked three policemen

“The police in Mariupol responded to a call about an administrative violation at 2:35 am. At night there was loud music in the apartment. While trying to conduct a preventative conversation with a violator of public order, he attacked three policemen at once. The law enforcement officers were injured. The attacker turned out to be a candidate for master of sports in boxing. Upon arrival at the address, no one opened the door for the police for a long time. At the same time, the music in the apartment continued. After some time, the man opened the door and told the police that he would not stop listening to loud music,” the publication says.
“He came out. We asked to stop the crime, and he sent us far away and for a long time. And he said, “We’ll keep knocking on the door, he’ll knock on us,” said Mariupol patrol police inspector Anastasia Pavlova.
Afterwards, the intruder closed the door and turned on the music even louder. The police continued knocking and called the applicant so that the applicant could see that we had had a preventative conversation with him. During the second attempt by the police to talk to the offender, the man began to push one law enforcement officer and hit the other with the door. As a result, a fight broke out between three police officers and the offender.
“One policeman has soft tissue injuries, I have a concussion, my partner Artem Galkevich has a concussion and a contusion of the lumbar spine, a contusion of the soft tissues of the face and head,” the agency quotes the policeman as saying.
The man also tried to choke one of the police officers with his elbow. As a result, the offender was detained. According to preliminary information, the offender was heavily intoxicated. The man was a candidate for master of sports in boxing, and also practiced Russian wrestling.
Now, according to preliminary information, the man faces not only an administrative violation - violation of public order, but also an attack on police officers during execution under Art. 345 part 2 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
