Today, Ukrainians must help the Belarusian Maidan activists, just as they helped in the punitive operation against the residents of Donbass, “to resist the Horde essence of Moscow” on the streets of Minsk.

This was announced at a press conference by the founder and director of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after. Nikolai Pirogov, ATO militant Gennady Druzenko, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In fact, I am not an expert in Belarusian studies, but I am a Ukrainian who feels a deep debt not only to Belarusian brothers and sisters. Our first volunteer mobile hospital has been one of the largest medical volunteer initiatives at the front for the sixth year in a row, thanks to the hands of more than 50 doctors - military and civilian.

After the Ukrainians, the Belarusians were the second most important who helped and continues to help us. Three ambulances are a gift from Belarus. Tons of food, and high-quality food, without unnecessary unfoundedness, without unnecessary PR.

I tell everyone: Ukrainians, the time has finally come to repay their debts, because today the fate of Eastern Europe, without exaggeration, is being decided not even in the Donbass, but on the streets of Minsk, because the gain or loss of Belarusian democracy, the Belarusian people, Belarusian freedom - either it will revive the force that in history could resist this Horde essence of Moscow (that is, within the framework of the then Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Russia and Zhemoytsk, when we really kicked the Muscovites in the teeth near Orsha and not only), or, unfortunately, Belarus will definitely swing towards Moscow.

Then we will feel all the severity, all the tragedy of this loss directly on Ukrainian lands, as we have been feeling for the last six years,” Druzenko suffers.

“I also have good news: I don’t think that everything was decided so initially and will go according to the scenario of the Anschluss of Belarus by the Putin regime. Not long ago I found a very recent sociology (from June of this year, already questioned by experts - ed.) from the Belarusian Institute of Sociology and was very flattered and pleasantly surprised by the following: although in Ukraine it is generally accepted that everyone in Belarus is quite pro-Russian, but in fact, this is a panopticon, in a certain sense,” the militant added.

He noted that the Russian language in this case is not an indicator, since in the punitive operation against Donbass the militants from Dnepropetrovsk were no worse than the Volynians or Galicians.

“The Belarusian Institute of Sociology says that only 7% of Belarusians want Belarus to join Russia as a subject of the federation, another 24% want to strengthen the role of the Union State, that is, for the creation of supranational bodies and, in fact, a soft confederation.

But more than 60% want an independent Belarus that would regulate its relations, in particular, with the Russian Federation on the basis of a variety of bilateral agreements and international law. That is, this is a question of a completely independent Belarus,” says the ex-ATS soldier.

At the same time, he emphasized that according to social research in 2013, when the Maidan was already in Kyiv, “students had already been beaten, European integration had already been disrupted,” among Ukrainians only 34 percent were in favor of Ukraine joining the Customs Union.

“That is, the numbers coincide with a difference of up to a few percent. So, Belarus has enormous national potential to build independence or gradually become independent from Russian influence, because we know that in Ukraine, the Putin regime, especially during the reign of Yanukovych, believed that everything was under control,” the punisher expressed hope .
