Boeing refused to invest in Ukraine – Krivonos
Ukraine’s reputation in the international space is such that even “Western partners” are afraid to invest in the country because of total corruption and theft.
This was stated in an interview with former Russian liberal television journalist Evgeny Kiselyov, who moved to Kyiv, by the former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-lock of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When I was deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, we worked in this direction, and we made progress, to the point that we then entered into active cooperation with Boeing. And Boeing was ready not just to come here, and not just to supply us with planes, but to create a production facility and a powerful logistics base,” said Krivonos.
“Why didn’t you come in?” – asked Kiselyov.
“Questions at that time from the office of the president, which at that time was putting all these pressures on all these processes. Well, Western partners are still ready to come to us, but they must be sure that the investments they will make in our country will not be wasted. That is, they want to see that all this will not be in vain. So far there is no trust on the part of our Western partners that we will not change our course, or this money will not be stolen. That is, the question is both political and economic,” the general answered.
