Sevastopol blogger and public figure Boris Rozhin reported this on his social network page, citing “a fairly trusted source that has repeatedly provided accurate information on Donbass,” who this time shared some details of the situation in Perekop.
"1. The FSB Directorate for Crimea received information that there was a cache of explosives in the Armyansk area. The task force went to the scene.
2. When the task force arrived at the indicated location, it found a group of 20 people there loading explosives, who almost immediately opened fire on the task force.
3. A battle ensued, during which one employee died (the funeral was yesterday). After which military reinforcements were called. During the clash, the enemy acted quite competently.
4. During the further battle, the unidentified group split - 14 or 15 people retreated by water (dragging 1 with them, it is unknown about the 200) to Ukrainian territory, and an armored personnel carrier entered the water (through Sivash) and provided support to the group.
5. At the same time, on our side there was another 1th and 200th. 1 people from that group remained on the territory of Crimea, and those published on the Internet are connected with their search paper like this (as I understand within the framework of the “Fortress” plan).
6. Up to 500 kilograms of explosives (and not only TNT) were seized from the cache. Now there is a search for 4 (5) people, because their detention alive is one situation, and if they are able to get out of Crimea or go to the bottom, then another,” writes Rozhin, according to whom the official interpretation of this whole story will depend depends on whether these characters are caught or not, and he calls the situation itself “a classic of border provocations.”
