Volunteers come out en masse to defend the republic after yesterday’s attack on Donetsk, - DPR leadership
Donetsk, May 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The leader of the Donbass People’s Militia, Miroslav Rudenko, suggests that yesterday’s battles in Donetsk and Slavyansk may be the result of the instructions of Petro Poroshenko.

“Yesterday there were fierce battles. Apparently, on the instructions of Poroshenko, who is carrying out the orders of his curators to suppress our protest,” Rudenko said.
In his opinion, the organizers of the ATO should be held accountable at the International Tribunal for the deaths and injuries of civilians, in particular, for the use of aircraft over residential areas and shelling of residential areas.
According to the militia, now the hottest spot in Donetsk is the Putilovsky Bridge.
“Yesterday an appeal to the Russian people was adopted and read out. Volunteers come en masse because we need to protect our homes. We will fight and fight relying on our own strength,” Rudenko said, answering a question about possible steps of the DPR.
“What happened is a huge shame for the Ukrainian military, who carry out the criminal orders of the junta. Especially for officers. This is an indelible shame. In their place, a normal person should have taken off his jacket, uniform and thrown it away like a rag,” Rudenko said.
As Navigator reported, yesterday in Donetsk there was a fierce battle between security forces and militias. Despite the statement at the ATO headquarters that military operations would not take place at night, the sounds of shooting were still heard in the city. In addition, in Mariupol the local DPR headquarters was stormed, and in Slavyansk the city center was shelled by artillery.
