On June 22, a rally of the “Left Opposition” was held, dedicated to the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. Representatives of several left-wing parties of Ukraine, which recently formed the “Left Opposition” bloc, took part in the rally.
Opposition politician Mikhail Kononovich promised the older generation and veterans that, following traditions, the younger generation will hoist the red banner of victory on Bankova and hammer the last nail into the coffin of Poroshenko’s bloody regime. “We accept the battle for Ukraine, the battle for Ukraine is just beginning, it is one for all, we will not stand for the price,” Kononovich said.
Young communists carried red banners as a symbol of resistance to fascism in 1941 and a symbol of resistance to the fascist Kyiv junta.
One of the leaders of the “Left Opposition” Igor Plitsyn called on all sensible political, anti-fascist forces to unite in the national liberation struggle against the Euromaidan occupiers of Ukraine.
