Ivano-Frankivsk, December 23 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Ivano-Frankivsk, the mother of a Ukrainian fighter said that she received a helmet for her son as humanitarian aid, but the helmet turned out to be... a toy.

“First, in September, I turned to Yuri Romanyuk (regional council deputy - editor’s note), he replied that there was no helmet yet. And already in October they told me to come to the White House and they would give it to me there. I came to the Self-Defense reception, called the deputy, and he ordered the duty officer to give me a helmet. I didn’t see Romanyuk, we only talked on the phone,” said the fighter’s mother, Natalya Zhuravleva, as quoted by her publication. “Galka.if”.
She also noted that the helmet was quite heavy and very similar to the real thing.
“I don't understand these things. They gave it to me - I thanked it. My son came on vacation and said that the helmet was not suitable for use in combat, because it said that it was a toy,” says the woman.
On the inside of the helmet there is a sticker that says in English “WARNING! This is a toy" (“Attention! This is a toy”).
