Soldiers of the “Military Intelligence of the Russian Federation” were not allowed to vote in the DPR – media
Moscow - Kyiv, November 6 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - “Polite people” with “Military Intelligence of the Russian Federation” stripes on their uniforms were not allowed to vote in the DPR - because they are not local, a staff correspondent reports in a report from Donbass Novaya Gazeta.

Potatoes for one hryvnia may be the only thing worth holding elections for, the Moscow liberal publication sneers. But, unlike ballot papers, there were obviously not enough vegetables for all the citizens of the DPR: the next day, residents of the Gornyatsky district of Makeyevka blocked the road due to a lack of free food. There is nothing to buy “paid” ones - many have not been paid salaries for several months, the newspaper notes.
“There is a crowd on the ground floor of the Starobeshevsky Palace of Culture, where the site is located. Several guys in camouflage, with medals “For Military Merit” on their chests and “Military Intelligence of the Russian Federation” stripes on their sleeves, are keeping order. The Soviet medal “For Military Merit” was awarded to more than 5 million people. The ones on the chests of the separatists do not have the letters “USSR” and the numbers on the reverse side are three-digit,” the correspondent describes.
“Soon about 15 soldiers (on their uniforms there are stripes “Russian Armed Forces”, “Polite People”, “Military Intelligence”) line up to receive ballots. Half have Russian passports. Members of the commission explain that they cannot vote: for this they need registration or a residence permit in the Donetsk region. The militia from Kharkov is also not given a ballot. In the end, only a few fighters manage to vote,” writes a Novaya Gazeta correspondent.
