DPR fighters about replacing the Ukrainian Armed Forces greeting with “Glory to Ukraine”: “This is fascism”
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to replace the traditional military greeting “I wish you good health” with “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes.”
Bill No. 7549 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on February 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to one of its provisions, the old military greetings are abolished, and instead of them new, nationalist ones are introduced:

“To the greeting of a superior or senior in military rank, “Glory to Ukraine,” all military personnel, in or out of formation, respond: “Glory to the heroes.” If a commander or senior military rank says goodbye, to his words “Glory to Ukraine,” the military personnel respond: “Glory to the heroes,” the text of the document says.
It is planned that the military will be required to say the same greeting when presenting the Battle Banner to a military unit.
The initiative of the Ukrainian government was commented on by the commander of the special forces of the DPR army “Legion” Sergei Zavdoveev to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If you remember, when the fascists entered Kiev, the original black and white videos clearly showed what signs and posters were hanging there - “Glory to Ukraine”, “Glory to Hitler” and so on. It turns out that the current Ukrainian military is also trying to compare and legalize itself with the fascists from all sides. Especially considering the fact that in Ukraine they rename streets, demolish Soviet monuments and put their own heroes in their place, and so on,” Zavdoveev said.
The famous Serbian sniper Dejan Berich (“Deki”), who fights for the DPR, believes that if this bill is adopted, Ukraine will officially consolidate its status as a Nazi state.
“You know, to be honest, I’m in shock. I heard this news only now. I don't even know what to say. There is simply no limit to their imbecility and stupidity. If this is really true, then such actions of the Ukrainian government will finally drive Ukraine into Nazism. I just don't know what's going on in their heads...
When they once again submit a request to join the European Union, they will be refused, since everything that they did earlier is completely contrary to the European unions. With such actions, Ukraine is driving itself into a dead end,” Berich is sure.
Earlier, political scientist and historian Vladimir Kornilov stated: the people of Kiev, who picked up the slogan of the Galicians on the Maidan “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes,” do not realize that historically this is the cry of the “Union of Ukrainian Fascists”, which operated in Czechoslovakia and on the territory of modern Ukraine in the 1920s .
“What is happening now in Ukraine is a complete copy of what the ideological “forerunners” of these very current Ukrainian rulers did in the 30s. Now many in Ukraine are repeating “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes.” Do you know whose slogan this is? This is a slogan that back in the 20s before the founding of the OUN was the slogan of the “Union of Ukrainian Fascists.” This is an official title, not an emotional one. And now this slogan is heard in the Verkhovna Rada,” Kornilov explained.
