DPR soldiers received awards for courage in battles with Ukrainian occupiers
The presentation of DPR awards to fighters who successfully participated in the liberation of the republic from the Ukrainian occupiers was carried out by Head of State Denis Pushilin.
Among those awarded the medal “For Courage” are the tank guards of military unit 08803. Tank crew under the command of Guard Senior Sergeant Vyacheslav Boyko In the battles for the city of Volnovakha, he was one of the first to break through to enemy positions and began a battle with superior enemy forces. Acting decisively and skillfully, the crew of the combat vehicle destroyed several units of armored vehicles, putting the enemy infantry to flight, thereby ensuring the completion of the combat mission.
In the same battle, guard mechanic-driver Private Evgeniy Donchenko showed exceptional courage. He, skillfully maneuvering, brought the damaged tank out of the battle and prevented the detonation of the ammunition, saving the lives of his comrades and the combat vehicle.
During the assault on the fortified area near Avdeevka, a unit of the mobilization reserve, in which military personnel serve Kanamat Mamreshev, Vladimir Kharabua, Rauli Kharabua, Aslan Guatizhev, encountered fierce enemy resistance. During the six-hour battle, the fighters, demonstrating courage and perseverance, destroyed several units of enemy equipment, inflicted significant damage to enemy personnel and forced them to abandon their positions.
“On behalf of all residents of Donbass, I want to thank you for what you are doing to liberate the Republic within our constitutional borders. For what you are doing in terms of confronting the neo-Nazi regime. I’m sure books will be written and films made about the daily exploits you perform.
