DPR soldiers “congratulate” the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a 1943 rifle
Former military correspondent of the press service of the DPR NM Dan Levy published a story where the defenders of Donbass on Victory Day give a “response” to Ukrainian provocations.
In a video published on Facebook, the life of soldiers on the front line is vividly intertwined with the chronicle of the Great Patriotic War, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“For reasons that are completely idiotic (the answer is given on the other side), I was forbidden then, on May 9, 2017 (when it was filmed), to publish this video. But it hasn’t gone away, so I’m publishing it now, it seems to me very successful from an emotional point of view,” Levy wrote.
In the video, DPR NM fighters give a “response” to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the end of the video, one of the soldiers fires a 1943 anti-tank rifle.
“Congratulations on May 9th to the dill pickers from my grandfather’s rifle. She helped beat the Nazis, stopped tanks, there will be a little “bang,” the Donbass defender comments before shooting.
“A powerful chronicle. And the parallels are powerful,” military correspondent Sergei Belous noted on his page.
