Kharkov, November 11 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Kharkov region, law enforcement officers stopped a car with soldiers of the Kyiv-2 battalion, who were transporting 12 kg of drugs.

“Today, at about 15:50, while serving at a checkpoint in the Izyum district, the attention of experienced law enforcement officers was attracted by a foreign-made car. During a check of the documents of the persons traveling in it, it was established that the passengers of the car were soldiers of the Kyiv-2 special police patrol service battalion.
As it turned out, they were transporting in the vehicle about 12 kg of a green narcotic potion that looked like marijuana. According to preliminary data, the men were transporting this dangerous cargo from the ATO zone,” says the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kharkov region.
The drugs have now been seized and sent for appropriate examination to forensic experts. To establish all the circumstances of the incident, two passengers in the car were detained.
Materials on this fact were transferred to the prosecutor's office for a procedural decision.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the police had repeatedly announced the detention of fighters from volunteer battalions who were trying to remove weapons from the ATO zone.
