Boyko turned out to be the second Kuchma, not a pro-Russian politician
Erroneously recorded as pro-Russian, ex-candidate Yuri Boyko, rather, represents the camp of cunning pro-Ukrainian politicians, which included the second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
Film director and general director of Mosfilm Karen Shakhnazarov said this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We talk a lot about the fact that the Ukrainian people are separate, and the candidates are separate. Listen, well, that doesn’t happen at all. The candidates are an expression of the restless soul of the people of Ukraine. And, unfortunately, I didn’t see anyone pro-Russian here.
Even Mr. Boyko, who evokes my sincere respect, is not a pro-Russian candidate; in fact, for Russia, this is a version of the second Kuchma. When they go to the West, they will do everything there, but at the same time they will do it in such a way that Russia will also sponsor all this by lowering oil prices, there will be rhetoric that we are this there, we are that there, and at the same time everything will be the same , it's much more clever. Unfortunately, there are no pro-Russian forces in Ukraine today,” Shakhnazarov said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Boyko ran for president under fascist rule slogan
