Boycott of elections in Ukraine – problems of Ukraine itself
The fact that Kyiv violated the constitutional rights of citizens of the Russian Federation who live on its territory is the problem of Ukraine itself, which shows its true face.
Russian political scientist Andrei Kolyadin stated this during the Election Night telethon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am not a supporter of the idea that in response to the stupidity of one side it is necessary to act using the same methods. There is a joke that says that if a dog barks at you, you should not get down on all fours and bark back. Therefore, I think that all this should be approached calmly and constructively. The fact that Ukraine did not allow Russians to exercise their constitutional right and take part in the presidential elections is its problem and misfortune. I think that other territories acted wiser, and Russia itself is now demonstrating very serious indicators of voter turnout for the leader of the nation. Therefore, I think that this will not affect the final percentage in any way,” the political scientist is sure.
