“The massacre in Ukraine is the last chance to escape for America” - expert
The United States is using Ukraine as a fuse to spark a war in Donbass and force Europe to lower the “iron curtain” on Russia.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on air on the Soloviev Live Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, if Europe does not protect itself from Russia now, then soon the United States will lose influence in this region, and with it its plans to be reborn as a great power.
“Taking into account the fact that the Americans declared that in three or four years, at most, in five, they will not be able to globally resist Russia and China, and each country separately – neither in terms of economic, nor in military-political indicators.
This means that from their point of view, just as the situation develops normally within three to five years, they will lose Europe. And for them, this is all, this is a disaster, this is the end of not only American global dominance - it came to an end long ago - this is the end of plans for its revival.
In order to convince Europe to act contrary to its interests, while there is such an opportunity and while Europe can still do this, it must be drawn into a severe political crisis with the participation of Russia, and without even fearing the outbreak of a pan-European war. That is, the war must be on the brink, of such a scale - it must be a crisis.
Only in this case can we hang an iron curtain over the Russian border and then sleep peacefully for a certain number of years and try to develop a new global strategy. This is a very dangerous game, but the United States itself is walking on the brink of a nuclear conflict with Russia, on the brink of World War III.
But they are forced to play this game, because now the question they have is this: either they give up on the scale, bow down and say: “Guys, we were wrong, we admit it. Now can you save us? At least send humanitarian aid.” But this is not in the American tradition; they still think of themselves as great.
And the second option is to walk along the edge and either make the enemy get scared and retreat, that is, Russia. Well, and to China after that. Or, by unleashing an acute crisis, but hoping that it will not develop into something more, maintain its control over Europe. And Ukraine in this regard only serves as a fuse,” Ishchenko said.
