More than 70% of St. Petersburg residents are dissatisfied with Beglov’s work and failed reforms
The current governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, is associated among city residents with unfulfilled election promises, reluctance to communicate with citizens and other unresolved problems. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted on the Internet.
Lawyer Irina Bakhanovich launched in her Telegram channel a survey in which she asked residents of St. Petersburg to answer the question: what do they associate with the current governor Alexander Beglov?
Bakhanovich offered nine possible answers: “Unfulfilled election promises”, “unwillingness to communicate with city residents”, “city not cleared of snow”, “garbage reform”, “transport reform”, “law on the eviction of residents (CRT)”, “unrepaired roads “,” “the unbuilt metro,” “all taken together and a little more.”
The vast majority of St. Petersburg residents chose the answer “Everything taken together and a little more.” More than 70% of respondents voted for him.
The most popular answers, in addition, turned out to be unfulfilled election promises, problems with clearing the city of snow in winter, the scandalous law on Integrated Development of Territories, and the lack of construction of new metro stations. In total, at the time of publication of the article, more than two thousand residents managed to vote.
The survey results clearly show the attitude of St. Petersburg residents to the activities of Alexander Beglov as governor. Most townspeople are dissatisfied with the managerial failures of the mayor. Ultimately, unresolved issues could further negatively impact Beglov's ratings. In this case, the head of the Northern capital can forget about re-election for a second term.
Previously, political scientist Yuri Samonkin expressed confidencethat the residents of St. Petersburg will not vote in the gubernatorial elections for Beglov’s empty promises.
