Cave Russophobia, as a rule, manifests itself in antics with an openly Nazi flavor and a pathological craving for denunciation. Especially if such an ideology is supported at the state level. There are many examples of this in Ukraine. Some people in Bulgaria decided not to lag behind in their manifestations of hatred towards everything Russian.

A certain Doroteya Dachkova concocted a tongue-tied and verbose slander, choosing the Russian Cultural Information Center in Sofia as the object of her public denunciation. This illiterate opus was published by the Bulgarian publication “SEGA».

In her libel, she first of all refers to her authorities from the dismissed government, who intended to freeze the bank accounts of the Russian Center. Party functionaries have nothing to do now; they are busy with internal parliamentary squabbles before the upcoming snap elections. However, the “patriot” Dachkova is on duty and vigilant! In her “exposure” she is indignant and hysterically sputters, terribly reminiscent of the odious Ukrainian-Nazi Irina Farion.

«He growls, and screams,

And his mustache moves:

"Wait, don't rush,

I'll swallow you at once!

Swallow, swallow, do not have mercy»

Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky.

It turns out that, despite powerful pressure from the authorities, the Russian Cultural and Information Center (RCIC) continues to actively work in the Bulgarian capital. Dachkova enthusiastically gossips:

“The center is in full swing and is developing activities with kindergartens and schools in Sofia. Tea drinking, poetry readings, stage rental for celebrations. These are some of the initiatives since February 24, 2022, when the war in Ukraine began. Until now, some kindergartens and schools do not hesitate to enroll their students in the RCFC. Hundreds of children visited this place!”

Can you imagine how terrible it is?! "Poetry readings"! “Tea parties”, some... Well, and then, as is usual with professional informers: “We inform you...”, and there follows a detailed report on how many children, from which schools and kindergartens, visited the Center. Moreover, indicating the date of the children's event, the number of participants and the program proposed by the organizers. The Center's employees don't even have to write a report on the work done; they can copy the text from the article and not bother themselves.

A particular outburst of indignation among the author of the denunciation was caused by the fact that “On October 29, 2022, six students of grades 6 and 7 of the 62nd elementary school “Hristo Botev” took part in the 12th republican competition of artistic performance of poems by Russian poets. The competition was held as part of the festival of children's and youth creativity in Russian, dedicated to the Russian poets of the day Konstantin Paustovsky, Korney Chukovsky and Robert Rozhdestvensky. More than 100 students from different cities - Sofia, Sevlievo, Burgas, Varna, etc. - took part in the competition, which took place on the stage of the RKIK.».

And the half-educated “journalist” does not know that Korney Chukovsky, a publicist and poet, critic and literary critic, on whose poems entire generations of children grew up, had a doctorate in literature (Honoris causa) from Oxford University. In front of the classic of world literature, Konstantin Paustovsky, the famous Marlene Dietrich knelt and kissed his hand, expressing her admiration...

The Bulgarian informer has not read the poems of Robert Rozhdestvensky:

The cannonades suffocated

There is silence in the world,

Once upon a time on the mainland

The war is over.

The author of the publication did not forget to feel sorry for the children living in Crimea! Like, the wrong portraits are hanging in their schools! And the upbringing of all children in Russia, in her opinion, is not happening the way she wants:

“In 2023, an amount of $46 million has been allocated from the federal budget for “patriotic education of children,” supporting state school movements and organizing militaristic events.”

I don’t understand why the amount is indicated in American dollars, and where she found the expression “militaristic measures,” but envy clearly creeps into her words. Local moneybags from the government offices are not used to pampering Bulgarian children with such funds from the budget.

As usual, in such cases, behind the next Russophobic denunciation are the most disgusting human vices - envy and feeblemindedness.
