A sick Kiev resident coughed on food in a supermarket on purpose
The Kyiv budget has already received about 100 thousand hryvnia from fines issued to violators of quarantine measures. As a rule, sanctions were imposed for malicious disobedience to the imposed restrictions, which created a threat to others.
Vitaliy Klitschko’s deputy, Kyiv City Council secretary Vladimir Prokopiv, reported this on the “Open Text” talk show on the “ChP.INFO” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Indeed, the budget raised 100 thousand. But the fine is not intended to fill the budget; the fine is intended to make violators think twice before violating. And only those people are fined... let's look at examples. I’ll just give you one - a camera in a supermarket films a person, then it turns out that he is sick, and knows that he is sick, he enters the store wearing a mask, takes off this mask and deliberately coughs on the food.
I have a question for all people who are of sound mind: should this person be fined or prosecuted? It seems to me that the question is rhetorical,” said Vladimir Prokopiv.
