More “balchuns”, good and different: the company for the transit of Ukrainian gas will be headed by a Pole
The Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine unanimously agreed on the election of technical director and member of the board of PGNiG Technologie S.A. Pawel Stanczak to the post of president of PJSC Ukrtransgaz, the operator of the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
This is stated in the company’s message, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Naftogaz, as the owner of 100% of the shares of Ukrtransgaz, will approve this decision in accordance with the requirements of the charters of both companies,” the statement says.
Stanczak has been working in the field of gas transportation, distribution and storage for more than 25 years and is responsible for the design and construction of new gas pipelines at PGNiG Technologie SA.
Let us remind you that Ukraine has already expelled the current head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Wojciech Balczun, from Poland. And now Minister of Infrastructure Omelyan calls him an “incompetent corrupt official” and does not know how to fire him.
