These are the data of a poll conducted in May in Simferopol by the Crimean research NGO “Regional Institute of Political Communications”.
Thus, to the question “Do you think the level of corruption in Crimea has changed over the last year?” The answers were distributed as follows:
Corruption has increased - 6,2%, Corruption has decreased - 37,8%; The level of corruption has not changed – 41%; Other – 1,2%; Difficult to answer – 13,8%.
The survey was conducted using street interviews in all districts of Simferopol. Respondents were selected using a quota sample representing the adult population of the city by gender, age, and nationality.
The sample population of respondents was 500 people.
Let us recall that back in June, Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov threatened corrupt officials in the region with exile to Magadan, announcing the “last Chinese warning.” Similar statements were periodically voiced by Aksenov until recently.
