Most Ukrainian guest workers in Poland want to stay there forever
The results of a survey by the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita indicate that Ukrainian labor migrants in this country want to stay and work and live in Poland forever, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
.
About it Radio Poland reports.
“More than six out of ten migrants from Ukraine plan to stay in our country longer. Half of them would willingly settle here forever, especially since the majority feels good in Poland,” the publication writes.
Ukrainians who live in Poland are especially satisfied with the standard of living (88%) and the availability of services. The friendly attitude of Poles is also assessed positively (noted by 74%).
The survey of almost 400 Ukrainians who have been in Poland for at least several months was conducted by ARC Rynek i Opinia.
According to the vice-head of the company, Adam Czarnecki, the results of this study show that reports of hostility towards Ukrainians in Poland are exaggerated.
Survey participants most often came to Poland to work, but more than a third were attracted to study at a university. According to Czarnecki, this gives a chance that some of them will remain here permanently and they will partially fill the space left after the Poles emigrated to the West.
