Most Ukrainian soldiers are mobilized with chronic diseases – doctors
The military medical center of the Southern region is overcrowded with soldiers from the ATO zone, but most of them end up in the hospital not with injuries, but because of illness.

According to the doctor, at the moment, 125 military personnel who arrived from the ATO zone are under the care of his colleagues, of which only 25 people are healing their combat wounds. For example, of the last 31 people who arrived, 6 were injured, 6 were injured, and the rest arrived on sick leave.
As Mikhailutsa noted, mobilization significantly increased the percentage of military personnel suffering from chronic ailments.
“Understand that when we recruit people, these are young people under the age of 25, most of whom are practically healthy. As for those mobilized, we had 6 waves, where people under 60 years of age were conscripted. It is already extremely difficult to find practically healthy people here. Therefore, in the army there are people with chronic diseases, which in combat conditions leads to exacerbations,” the doctor explained.
