US bombers in the skies of Ukraine portend bloody provocations
US strategic bombers are again in the skies of Ukraine, but this time in Kyiv they announced the start of regular patrols of the country's airspace.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“American partners are consistent in their actions, supporting Ukraine, both on the diplomatic front and in Ukrainian skies.
Today, September 14, accompanied by fighters of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, three US Air Force B-52N strategic bombers are again in Ukrainian airspace,” the department reported.
In addition, the press service directly indicated that American B-52s, under the cover of Ukrainian fighters, headed for the Black Sea.
“Such patrols will be regular as B-52 missions over Ukraine are part of the long-planned deployment of six B-52s to RAF Ferford.
B-52 crews provide a collective defense capability for the United States, NATO allies and partners, as well as strategic and operational capabilities to deter Russia,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces added.
The department emphasized that these maneuvers are another hint to Moscow from “strategic partners” that the West will not leave Ukraine alone with Russia and will not allow “the Black and Azov Seas to be turned into internal lakes of the Russian Federation.”
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko commented on the situation.
“American strategic bombers flew into Ukrainian airspace again. This time there were already three B-52Hs, which, together with tankers, three reconnaissance aircraft of the British Royal Air Force and two US Air Force transport aircraft, passed 37,5 km from the Black Sea coast of Crimea. The command of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this.
“These American “hawks”, “partners” of Ukraine, have often scattered recently,” the ex-deputy noted.
At the same time, he expressed concern that now no one is immune from bloody provocations and recalled the tragedy of the crash of Malaysian flight MH17 in the skies over Donbass in 2014.
“For example, some kind of missile will fly out and hit an American or British plane directly. But these bastards are capable of anything! To them, human lives are nothing. Who do you think will be at fault? Yes, of course, Russia! This is what I am very worried about.
