“The homeless Balts didn’t even send a letter”: a Belarusian journalist about the sanctions against him
Fans of the West naively believe that sanctions cut off those affected by them from the civilized world.
TV journalist Grigory Azarenok, who was included in the sanctions lists of the West and Ukraine, stated this on the Belarus 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They, especially Western-worshipping people, have a Western-centric consciousness... when Great Britain brought me in, they sent me a letter that they were officially notifying me that I would be erased from life. That’s it, the great Western civilization doesn’t allow me to join them,” the journalist said.
“They really have such a consciousness that when sanctions were introduced, something else, they said, everyone - the jungle, third world people, slaves, blacks - everything is worse than blacks in their understanding. That is, they really have such a consciousness that “we are taking such a step.” Well, this is really funny to us. The homeless Balts didn’t even send a letter, but this, apparently, smacks of their Soviet past,” Azarenok sneers.
