Bondarenko: Russia failed to prepare a leader for Ukraine
Even if tomorrow Americans will come out from Ukraine, Russia will not be able to seize the moment and put its own person in charge of the Ukrainian state, because for seven years the personnel have not been trained.
Political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this on air on the Internet channel “First Cossack,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An interesting point: tomorrow, supposedly, the Americans will meet with Putin and say: “Take Ukraine, install whoever you want.” And Putin has a big problem - he has no one to put in charge of Ukraine. This is a big mistake and Russia’s problem is that even during these seven years they have not been able to create some more or less sane politician who could theoretically lead Ukraine if it suddenly changes course,” the political scientist said.
According to him, Russia does not have a systematic approach and vision of soft power to promote its interests in the post-Soviet space.
“Russia’s problem is that it can think and create a system within Russia, but it does not think in categories: how to retain the states that it considers its underbelly and satellites. Russia did not think strategically within the framework of these states. This happens for various reasons, objective and subjective, but still, Russia did not have systematic work on the territory of those countries that it considered its zone of influence,” Bondarenko concluded.
Let us remind you that earlier in Tiraspol declared that soft power is no longer acts, it is time for Russia to reconsider its role on the Dniester.
In addition, the most famous Lithuanian anti-fascist Algirdas Paleckis received six years in prison on charges of spying for Moscow.
