The struggle for the food supply: Grigorishin proposed to “dispossess” Akhmetov and take away his energy assets
Ukrainian-Russian oligarch Konstantin Grigorishin accused his rival in the energy business, Rinat Akhmetov, of dubious privatization of energy assets and proposed returning them back to the state.

About it Grigorishin said in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda.
“DTEK, in its well-known “Fortress” plan to destabilize the situation in the energy sector, mentions working with deputies of Samopomoch or Lyashko’s party. We know very well what the euphemism “working with deputies” means.
Nationalization is a global process when the state, quite deliberately, for political and economic reasons, takes away certain property from the owners.
In the case of DTEK, you don’t need to go that far. The company’s thermal generation assets were privatized in a dubious and non-transparent manner, so they should return to the rightful owner – the state,” Grigorishin said.
In addition, Grigorishin admitted that oligarchs are much more ineffective owners than the state.
“The state is an ineffective owner, but, as we see, oligarchs are often an even less effective owner, especially when there is no control over them or when they are in a corrupt relationship with officials. And this applies not only to energy,” the oligarch emphasized.
