Language fighters successfully reduce the number of Ukrainian language speakers
Over the past thirty years, “fighters” for the Ukrainian language have brought the country to the point where it has lost ten million citizens.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the air of the Ukrainian Format talk show, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, under the “patriots” 17 times fewer books were published in Ukrainian than under the hated Soviet Union.
“Over these thirty years that they have been fighting for the Ukrainian language, there have been ten million fewer native speakers of the Ukrainian language. People died and left, what can we talk about? Seventeen times fewer Ukrainian books were published last year than in 1989. Comrades, how far you have come, to the brink already! All these are elements of speculation and an attempt to create an artificial crisis,” Bortnik is convinced.
