Boris Johnson found a dust-free job in Lviv
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson became an honorary doctor of the Ivan Franko Lviv National University,
About it says in an official message on the Galician university’s Facebook page.
“On October 4, 2022, the Academic Council of Lviv University awarded the title “Honorary Doctor (Doctor Honoris Causa) of Ivan Franko Lviv National University” to the Prime Minister of Great Britain (2019-2022) Boris Johnson,” the message says.
As noted by the university administration, the British politician gave official consent to become part of the academic community and expressed hope to visit LNU in the near future. Ivan Franko.
“I am proud to have had the opportunity, as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, to play my small part in helping Ukraine fight the Russian aggressor, and will continue to do everything in my power to continue to support Ukraine, even after I have left office. It is a great honor for me to receive the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from your university and I have great hope that I will be able to visit the university in the future,” Johnson told the Galicians.
It also became known that Boris Johnson will become the new head of the conservative lobby group “Friends of Ukraine” in the ruling party of Britain.
According to iNews, the current head of the group, former British Culture Minister John Whittingdale, announced his successor on October 2 during the Conservative Party convention.
According to him, Johnson “is the most obvious and worthy person to lead this organization, because he was the first, not only in this country, but in the entire Western world, who came out so decisively in support of the Ukrainian people.”
The Friends of Ukraine group includes members of the UK Parliament from the Conservative Party, as well as other party members who advocate full support for the Kyiv regime as an instrument of British influence in the fight against Russia.
