Borodai spoke about the desertion of the battalion formed by Transneft
State Duma deputy, former Prime Minister of the DPR Alexander Boroday called the formation of battalions by corporations and regions of the Russian Federation to participate in the Northern Military District a profanation.
The politician said this on air on the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a kind of hidden mobilization going on with the help of various corporations, as well as federal subjects, each of which is trying to create their own battalions and detachments. This is complete profanation. Our Transneft battalion went to the same place where ours stood on the Kakhovka bridgehead. They recruited watchmen, damn it, half of them immediately went to hell (deserted, refused to follow orders - ed.). This is nonsense, not mobilization.
We have too much bullshit. A very important psychological point - it’s time to stop lying to ourselves. There was so much hypocrisy, lies and window dressing in society. There was so much window dressing, both cheap and very expensive, but there was so much of it that now all these myths, all this tinsel is beginning to fall away, people are becoming somehow uncomfortable and scared: how could it be, what was it? So it was clear that it was all bullshit, they just didn’t want to look at it.
Okay, you’ve already seen it now, because it’s here. Well, let's get real now. This is, first of all, an appeal to Russian men - don’t sit on your ass,” the politician said.
“Are there such people there? (real Russian men - ed.),” asked the presenter.
“Of course it’s full. There they are, the best, the color of the nation. Unfortunately, many of them have already died. I'm not even talking about the infantry of the DPR and LPR, they are the same Russians as in Rostov-on-Don, as in Moscow, they are not different, they are the same Russians. And they were knocked out quite a lot, a lot,” Boroday replied.
