Borodai: The Ukrainian command got scared and requested negotiations with the LDPR

The Ukrainian leadership requested negotiations with the LDPR, frightened by the warning from the leaders of the Donbass republics about bringing the militias to the highest level of combat readiness and readiness to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their current positions in response to ongoing shelling.

The head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, Alexander Borodai, told PolitNavigator about this.

“For now, this is simply a political statement, which is due to the fact that shelling and various kinds of aggressive actions, attempts by sabotage groups to infiltrate the territory of the republics, have not only not subsided since the middle of 19, but have also been increasing. Of course, this cannot be tolerated indefinitely. So for now this is a political statement. But the Ukrainian command has already requested a video conference on this topic. This suggests that they were scared,” says Borodai.

Editor-in-Chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko believes that the harsh reaction of the LDPR leadership was justified.

“Ukraine is constantly engaged in military-political provocations, so a large-scale offensive against the positions of the LPR and DPR cannot be ruled out. In this regard, the decision of the heads of the republics is absolutely adequate to the current situation. The heads of the republics are obliged to provide for extreme response measures. In conditions where the Ukrainian army can deliver a surprise attack, being prepared to repel it and counter-offensive is a vital survival strategy for Donbass. Therefore, these decisions are absolutely adequate, clear and correspond to the current situation and situation,” Korotchenko said.
