Borodai believes that 300 thousand mobilized Russian army will be enough
Russia needed partial mobilization so that the bulk of the population could continue to live in peace.
The head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, State Duma deputy Alexander Borodai said this on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Borodai, these 300 thousand mobilized reservists will be enough to complete the assigned tasks.
“We are always trying to make do with less forces and resources, making sure that the population of the Russian Federation lives as blissfully and calmly as possible. Unfortunately, in the conditions of the war that was declared on us, because we have this Special Military Operation, at least there was until now and still remains, and the West declared a total war of annihilation against us.
And, of course, it doesn’t seem possible for us to get by with small regular forces and resources. That is why partial mobilization was announced. At least that’s how I understand it,” the politician said.
“I think that this [partial mobilization] will be enough for us. If you watched my interviews that took place before the president announced partial mobilization, then you can look in hindsight and see that I am talking about partial mobilization and the need for 300-400 thousand people. Mobilization has been announced in the amount of 300 thousand people,” Borodai said.
