Borrell: We are preparing 30 thousand military personnel. But it's not enough
Western bloc countries must strengthen their military support for the Kyiv regime.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, at a briefing in Brussels.
According to him, the EU “has created an instrument of peace” that provides assistance to Ukraine.
“We are now launching an extremely important training program. At the end of this program we will have trained more than 30 thousand Ukrainian soldiers. But this is still not enough,” said the European official.
Addressing Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who was present at the briefing, he called for speeding up military assistance to Ukraine.
“Today especially - ammunition, tomorrow - weapons to satisfy all your needs. And I think that this meeting provided better coordination of our efforts so that we continue this united and effectively,” Borrell concluded.
