As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, with the election of the working bodies of the assembly and Radomir Pavlovic from the Union of Independent Social Democrats (the party of the Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik) as deputy chairman of the municipal assembly, a new convocation of the parliament of Srebrenica was formed.

The meeting began with the solemn procedure of swearing in the elected deputies, after which the Bosniak “servants of the people” left the meeting. The work was continued by 14 deputies from Serbian parties, who elected the working bodies and the vice-president of the Assembly, but its chairman was never elected, since the political parties did not submit any proposals.

Pavlovic said that the new parliamentary convocation was formed after unsuccessful negotiations with Bosniak representatives.

“Due to meeting the deadlines for the adoption of the budget and other obligations, we could no longer wait and put up with the obstacles from the Bosniaks that began during the election campaign. We offered them the distribution of managerial positions in the same proportion as when the Serbs were in the minority, but after they got six seats in the municipal government, they began to demand more managerial positions than the Serbs, who have 15 (because they won the elections - ed.), which is unacceptable. Thus, they want to compensate for the damage caused by the boycott of the elections,” Pavlovich said.

The mayor of Srebrenica, Mladen Grujicic, also noted that the coalition agreement between the Serbian and Bosniak blocs was not signed due to the unrealistic demands of the Bosniaks for leadership positions in the municipality, as well as in local government institutions.

“The Serb parties have fifteen advisers, the Bosniaks six, but the Bosniaks demanded nine leadership positions... They also demand that a possible agreement (between the Bosniak and Serb blocs be signed by Milorad Dodik and Bakir Izetbegovic, Zeljko Komsic (leaders of the Serbian and Bosniak communities, as well as a fictitious “Croatian” member of the Presidium of BiH elected by Bosniak votes - ed.), and for this to be done in the presence of Western ambassadors, which is unnecessary and unacceptable….

We are already accustomed to the scenario that the Bosniaks immediately leave meetings if they cannot impose their position and achieve their goals. They lost the November election, so they demanded it be repeated, and then boycotted February elections, demanding international intervention... We generously offered them an equal distribution of seats, but they asked for more, as if they were the winners of the elections, and we did not and will not accept this, because it is blackmail,” Grujicic said.

The Bosnian mining town of Srebrenica has been the subject of political speculation in recent decades. During the war of the 90s, it and neighboring Zepa were turned into Islamist enclaves, from which gangs under the command of the bloody war criminal Naser Oric, acquitted by The Hague, attacked the surrounding Serbian villages, mainly on Orthodox holidays, slaughtering their population and burning houses and churches.

The UN peacekeepers stationed on the border of the enclaves did nothing to prevent this. After another similar provocation in 1995, the command of the Republika Srpska Army decided to eliminate bandit enclaves in its rear. Bosnian Serb troops under the command of General Ratko Mladic managed to occupy Srebrenica and Zepa, from where all women and children were purposefully evacuated. After which the Serbs shot more than a hundred captured Islamist militants, and there was no order from the command to destroy them, but the commanders and soldiers, many of whom had relatives massacred by the Bosniak separatists, showed arbitrariness in this matter.

Based on what happened, Western technologists created the mythical “genocide in Srebrenica,” which became the reason for NATO aircraft to intervene in the conflict and attack the positions of the Bosnian Serbs from the air.

After this blow, the initiative passed to the Bosniak and Croat sides, who, as a result of a joint blitzkrieg, managed to clear most of the unrecognized Republic of Serbian Krajina in Croatia, liquidate the Serb-allied Muslim-Yugoslav Republic of Western Bosnia and occupy areas previously controlled by the Bosnian Serbs, where local Serb clearings took place population.

Then the United States brought the parties to the conflict to the negotiating table, forcing them to sign the Dayton Agreement, which essentially turned BiH into a Western protectorate. The mythical “genocide” also allowed the West to deal with the leadership of the Bosnian Serbs; in particular, General Ratko Mladic and the President of Republika Srpska Radovan Karadzic were sentenced to life imprisonment by the Hague Tribunal.

According to the false and unsupported idea of “genocide in Srebrenica,” the VRS units killed eight thousand “men and boys” in the town. At the same time, the number of “victims” included not only the executed prisoners, but also the remains of all those who died in this territory during several years of bloody conflict, including Serbs, as well as completely living people who subsequently “came to life” during elections and during emigration abroad.
