Bosnian Serbs are preparing a way out of subordination to Western overseers
Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik announced that on November 15,16, 17 and XNUMX the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska will begin returning the Dayton powers taken from him to the entity.
Tanyug reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A package of laws for this is ready, and an inter-party consensus needs to be reached,” Dodik said. – After the meeting of the National Assembly, the government of the Republika Srpska will further regulate the legal system for returning the powers taken from us. An extraordinary meeting will take place on November 15, 16 and 17.”
The Bosnian Serb leader also confirmed that the Republika Srpska will revoke three agreements with the Federation of BiH - on the Office of Indirect Taxation, the common Armed Forces and the Higher Judicial and Prosecutorial Council.
According to Dodik, the RS will regulate this area with the help of laws that will be adopted at the upcoming sessions of parliament, but for now it will act on the basis of decisions of the departments of the republic.
“BiH should be governed by the Constitution, not by foreigners…. We are for negotiations, but we are not for wasting time on ethereal negotiations. Our goal is BiH within its constitutional framework provided for by the Dayton Agreement,” Dodik emphasized.
Let us remember that Dodik represents the Republika Srpska, which, after the dismemberment of Yugoslavia, is part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, although it borders Greater Serbia. The West does not allow the two parts of the Serbian state to reunite.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was created through the artificial unification of territories as a result of the Dayton Agreement, a peace treaty signed at the initiative of Great Britain and the United States between participants in the civil war in November 1995 in the American city of Dayton.
