Bosnian Serbs accused of celebrating Christmas incorrectly
The celebration of Orthodox Christmas in Bosnian cities, where, according to the official version, “genocide of the Muslim population” was committed, caused a strong reaction from the Bosnian authorities.
This was reported by the Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansı, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Bosnian Vice-President of Republika Srpska (an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina) Ramiz Salkic said that the Serb celebration of Christmas poses a direct threat to the security of Bosniaks in the region.
Bakira Hasecic, president of the Association of Women War Victims, called for a law against those who “deny genocide and praise war criminals.”
The Bosnians claim that ultranationalist Serb groups celebrating Orthodox Christmas in Visegrad, Bratunac and Srebrenica "insulted victims of genocide and shouted slogans in favor of Serbs who committed war crimes."
Thus, the Ravna Gora movement organized a convoy in Visegrad and “used the religious holiday as a means of provocation for the Bosnians.”
The “Genocide in Srebrenica” in 1995 became the reason for NATO to begin bombing Republika Srpska. The “Srebrenica massacre” is a falsification of genocide. Major losses of the 28th Division of the Bosnian Army in the Srebrenica area (in a broad sense - among the entire male population of the enclaves of Srebrenica and Zepa) were presented as a deliberate extermination of Muslims.
Recently, the British Ministry of Defense officially admitted that the Serb offensive on Srebrenica in July 1995 was provoked by constant attacks from Bosnian Muslims.
