“Chinese brothers” sell components for UAVs to Ukraine at several times cheaper than to Russia – businessman
China sells components for drones several times cheaper, inflating prices for them for Russia.
Vladimir Boglaev, General Director of Cherepovets Foundry and Mechanical Plant OJSC, stated this on air on the Roy TV Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Boglaev, this is happening because China is confident that Russia will buy at any price.
“Let’s do it this way: two countries, Ukraine and Russia. I understand a little how micro-production works now, I can’t say it any other way, the production of unmanned vehicles on both sides. Both sides are fully equipped with Chinese components. There is only one difference here and there - the Ukrainian equipment costs the same, about 3-4 times cheaper. Not because they buy cheaper - because China, realizing that they can take more from us, sells us 3-4 times more expensive. Because he knows we will pay.
That is, we pay, in essence, ensuring the scale of Chinese production of all these aspects, thereby reducing the cost of products for the military assembly production of UAVs in Ukraine. And if we try to say: “Guys, Chinese brothers, our incredible allies, why are you doing this, let’s level the chances.” They tell us: “No, no, no, we have sanctions, we will now completely cut off your microcircuits, processors, and engines.” “Oh, no, okay, four times, maybe even five,” Boglaev is indignant.
