Brazilian monkeys and Poroshenko's shower stalls
The news about the birth of a two-headed monkey in a Brazilian zoo is more important for television viewers than the opening of a shower stall by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in the Poltava region.
Former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, lawyer Andrey Portnov said this in an interview with the Kyiv online newspaper “Strana”, as reported by a correspondent of “PolitNavigator”, given control popular Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne.
He noted that none of the influential politicians will be able to give instructions to the TV channel regarding its editorial policy.
“Within the framework of some personal relationship between people, someone, of course, will be able to call someone. But the effect will be zero,” the lawyer said. – For example, if someone from Bankova wants to call, then they will have to call me, in Austria. And say: “Andrey Vladimirovich, please put on a story about Petro Poroshenko opening a shower stall in the Poltava region.”
“And what will you answer to such a request?” the journalists asked.
“The news that a monkey in a Brazilian zoo was born with two heads is more important,” Portnov clarified.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Poroshenko opened a road sign on a section of the road N-08 Boryspil - Dnepr - Zaporozhye - Mariupol.
In turn, the mayor of Kyiv and the head of the party “Bloc of Petro Poroshenko “Solidarity” Vitaliy Klitschko solemnly on television cameras opened a European toilet in the capital.
