The Ukrainian army intensified shelling of the DPR territory during the visit of a high-ranking British military official to Donbass.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, after the arrival of the commander of the British Ground Forces, Carlton-Smith, at the 30th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, brigade commander Garaz’s subordinates intensified shelling of the Gorlovka areas, trying to demonstrate their combat effectiveness.
“During Carlton-Smith’s stay in the brigade’s area of responsibility, more than 100 artillery shells and mines were fired into the Gorlovka area, which led to damage to 8 houses and the injury of a 13-year-old girl,” said Eduard Basurin.
