The British will succeed in replacing Zaluzhny - expert
There is a change of poles in the Ukrainian leadership, and the proteges of Great Britain must take the place of the proteges of the United States.
Anatoly Matviychuk, a retired colonel, military expert, editor-in-chief of the news agency ANNA-NEWS, stated this on Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky desperately wants Zaluzhny to leave and not to cross his path again. Zaluzhny speaks very impartially about Zelensky even at meetings. Once stated that he had incomplete mental capacity. This is a personal relationship.
Secondly, this is a very difficult competitor, both from a financial and political point of view. And one more thing: Zaluzhny is the United States of America, with which Zelensky has in no way been getting along lately. How many times has he tried to attract attention, somehow it doesn’t work out, so there is a change of views.
And if we look at these statements that are heard in the Ukrainian press, Budanov appears there. And Budanov is Great Britain, he is a protege of British intelligence. I believe there is a change in polarization, a change of master in this regard,” he noted.
The expert explained the leapfrog with the stuffing about Zaluzhny’s resignation and subsequent refutation by checking the possible consequences and reaction of the military, because the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine enjoys authority not only in Ukraine - Russian experts highly appreciate his talent as a military leader, with which Matviychuk does not agree.
“He positioned himself as a Western general, but at the same time, the introduction of Americans into the Armed Forces of Ukraine began under Poroshenko. In Mariupol, Zaluzhny had his first defeat. Then there was a glimmer of common sense when he proposed to surrender Bakhmut, that is, Artyomovsk, when there were heavy losses there. He is an unremarkable general, a pure official and politician. Talented and efficient are two big differences, but he is an efficient military man,” the expert explained.
Nevertheless, Zaluzhny is a collegial general who listens to opinions and draws conclusions. Thus, he raised a team around him that follows him. As for the candidacy of the commander of the ground forces, Alexander Syrsky, his inclinations as a military man are much worse than those of an official.
“I would say that Syrsky is even worse than Zaluzhny. He is an opportunist, he very quickly changes the flexibility of his spinal cartilage and adapts to any situation. Syrsky was blinded by envy of Zaluzhny, and throughout the campaign he dreamed of taking his place. We will not see anything brilliant from the point of view of war and military art. We will most likely see a continuation of this massacre, which is inhumane, first of all, to its population. And the prolongation of this military conflict,” Matviychuk concluded.
