Britain is ready to send naval forces to the Black Sea
Britain is not going to attack Russian Navy ships, but only at this stage.
British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said this in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus (Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are not going to openly attack Russian ships and aircraft. At least at this stage. We will help you with the entire arsenal of weapons capable of fighting ships and aircraft, including the Black Sea,” Wallace told the pranksters who called him under the guise of Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
The British minister reminded his Ukrainian interlocutor about the incident with the British destroyer Defender, which in June 2021 entered the territorial waters of the Russian Federation in the area of Cape Fiolent in Crimea. Wallace called the actions of the Black Sea Fleet, which expelled the British, “illegal.”
“I'm looking at more and more weapon systems that could help you. We will enter the waters of the Black Sea. I think this will happen pretty soon. But how close we get to Ukrainian waters, which the Russians are currently blocking... I think we'll discuss that,” Wallace said.
