Britain may refuse to supply armored boats to Ukraine
Negotiations between Ukraine and Great Britain on the purchase of small missile boats from London using credit money are frozen and may fail.
Military expert Taras Chmut stated this on air on the Skrypin Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Chmut, Kyiv and London cannot agree on the weapons that will be installed on the boats.
“At the moment, a series of negotiations has taken place, Ukraine is demanding something of its own, Britain is trying to fit what we want into technical capabilities. But for now, in fact, they are telling me the information that the process is frozen. Of course, the British can refuse. Britain can say: “Dudes, we play with you a lot of time, if you don’t really need it, then there are many other countries in the world that do.” Secondly, we can still start, as we love, that we still need this, and that, and that, and generally for free. And this process, indeed, can reach some limit when he simply dies,” Chmut said.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Great Britain was going to supply to Ukraine outdated small armored missile boats developed in the 70s of the last century.
At the same time, the head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Submariner Veterans Sergei Shabovta stated that British boats will not be strengthened combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian fleet.
