British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond stated this in an interview with the BBC.
“There were some alarming signs of increased activity by both Russian forces and Russian-controlled separatist forces. From our point of view, there are no clear signs that all this shows that a Russian offensive is imminent. But this tells us that Vladimir Putin reserves all possible options for action and does not exclude the military option,” the minister said.
Let us recall that on June 3, the ATO headquarters reported that in the morning the militias allegedly attempted to break through near Donetsk, in particular, they began massive shelling of the positions of the ATO forces near Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, including from heavy weapons.
In this regard, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces admitted that the Ukrainian military violated the Minsk agreements and returned heavy artillery to the demarcation line, shelling peaceful cities.
