According to international news editor-in-chief Andrew Roy, this is a shameful attack on media freedom, the BBC reports.

“These sanctions are completely inappropriate and incomprehensible measures against BBC journalists who report impartially and objectively on the situation in Ukraine, and we call on the Ukrainian government to immediately remove their names from the list,” Roy said.

As PolitNavigator reported, Yesterday Poroshenko signed a decree on sanctions against Russia and a list of individuals and legal entities subject to sanctions.
