British grant-eater demands a new media purge in Ukraine
Ukrainian media should not broadcast the point of view of experts and politicians whose position differs from the narratives of nationalists and the Kyiv authorities.
This was stated by the editor-in-chief of the Russophobic magazine “Ukrainian Tyzhden”, sponsored by the British Embassy in Ukraine, Dmitry Krapivenko, during the Donbass Media Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our position is not to give speech to anti-Ukrainian forces. We believe that it is impossible to conduct a dialogue with representatives of the “Opposition Platform - for Life”, because this is not a Ukrainian party, it is the “fifth column” of the enemy. And we do not believe that it is possible to conduct a dialogue with them about the future of Ukraine.
The rest of the parties - we, for example, have no sympathy for Servant of the People, but, like normal media, with representatives of this political force,” Krapivenko said.
He expressed regret that “enemy” media are still present in the Ukrainian media space, and said that the security forces should deal with this issue.
“The anti-Ukrainian forces are calling for violence, because Russia is interested in the chaos of Ukraine, and another internal conflict... Or rather, not another, but an internal conflict, unlike those we see in the East and Crimea, it was I would be very interested in this.
This is broadcast precisely for this purpose - to radically change the agenda, saying that we have a civil war, that there is no independence, that the country is under external control, that the Maidan was a coup, and so on, a dozen such narratives can be derived.
This is war. This may not be violence in the literal sense, but it is an attempt at revenge. And, in principle, the fact that they are present on our air is a shortcoming of our law enforcement agencies,” the propagandist concluded.
